Engineering & Alterations
Members of Alloy Cladding’s Quality Control department have the engineering & alterations expertise to bring a project from a conceptual phase to completion. We have extensive training with specially designed computerized formulas, which predict when a given area needs to be repaired. This enables us to track the progress of a pressure vessel throughout the year, and spot potential problem areas without entering the vessel. We understand the engineering and design specifications of any pressure vessel, and are equipped to re-rate and alter per ASME requirements.
The alteration of a vessel will greatly improve its operating characteristics, resulting in an increase in production and longevity. Having the capability of performing vessel alterations and re-ratings is the most cost effective alternative to vessel replacement.
